The innovative and patented Walcom TD³ system is the first product in the market that simultaneously allows to:
- heat and thermo regulate compressed air
- filter compressed air from water, oil, vapour, humidity and gas impurities
- automatically regenerate silica gel
Air heating and thermoregulation
The patented Walcom TD³ combines a heating cartridge resistance unit with an internal heated hose, controlled by a PID (Proportional-Integral-System). Due to this double heating power, it allows to:- set compressed air temperature at spray gun inlet
- set up the optimum paint application temperature indicated by the paint manufacturer
- maintain the set up temperature at the gun input regardless of environmental changes
- keep set air temperature, in the IPH heating hose, even when the system is idle, offering the painter the possibility to restart work in maximum efficiency conditions immediately
Automatic regeneration of silica-gel
SRS SYSTEM: the SRS solenoid valve (e) is one more of the Walcom patented systems that regenerates silica-gel, without any manual operation, by the sole inversion of heated air flows.Air flow exchange allows the air to reach suitable temperature to regenerate silica-gel. After 8 hours, the system gets automatically switched off.

Air filtering
Walcom TD³ outputs fully free of solid and gaseous impurities compressed air from the filter system through 4 filtering phases:- water filtering with automatic drain (a)
- oil filtering with manual drain (b)
- vapour, humidity and gas impurities elimination by silica gel. After this phase, a -40°F dew point is reached by significant humidity lowering (c)
- eventual silica gel powder filtering (d).
