Walcom Thermo Dry technology product knowledge

The Walcom Thermodry Technology atomizes waterborne and solvent based paints more effectively than cold compressed air. What this allows is the material to atomize at the spraygun nozzle with less static pressure due to the Thermo regulated heat at the spraygun inlet. The results are:

Higher transfer efficiency of material to the surface being painted

Less overspray bouncing off product due to softer fan, increased transfer efficiency as a result = (less waste)

Better layout and uniform flat coverage of material sprayed. Sealer, base coat, and clear. (less material with a flatter finish thru out the entire process)

Faster Dry time Less material used with better coverage equals faster dry times. Also materials dry faster from within as a result of being applied closer to ambient temperature with no humidity.

Utilizing the drying capabilties of thermo dry air Via Open flow drier or thermo Jet gun further reduces flash time between coats if needed and produces cleaner paint work than venturi gun, corner nozzles, or ceiling fan solutions.

Thermo Regulation of spray air in every application creates a production environment that standardizes materials used, minimizes the chance for die back, eliminates modeling, and reduces material consumption.

Decreased Bake times and temperatures for clear coats due to accelerated drying process

Reduced cabin temperature during spray cycle eliminates the need to run higher cabin temps to flash basecoats

Ability to control texture-“orange peel” and regulate a formula for clear coat materials with consistent results.

The elimination of contamination that may result in fish eyes, die back, or dirt. This results in less denibbing, buffing, and a superior “quality in the finish”.

A percentage of material savings ranging from 10% to 25% or higher depending on the facilities process.

Spraybooth filter life extended do to less overspray and waste

One or more complete booth cycles per day for a shop with exisitng conditions in place.
