It’s recommended to change it once a year. Once a while, just push the handspike to drop off water residuals.

When am I supposed to change oil filter? How to do it?

Every 6 months you are supposed to change it (based on average air compressor “quality” system). You just unscrew it and substitute the internal part.

What is Silica-gel? Am I supposed to change it?

Silica gel is made of little yellow beads packed in a semi-permeable plastic. It is used as a desiccant for local humidity. To regenerate it you just have to turn on the SRS valve and it will be automatically be regenerated without any manual operation, by the sole inversion of heated air flows. Air flow exchange allows the air to reach suitable temperature to regenerate silica-gel. After 8 hours, the system gets automatically switched off (You can leave it on at night when you are closed). You are supposed to change the silica gel every 6 months (based on average air compressor “quality” system).

Can I use TD³ when first and second silica gel window indicator are blue?

Yes. Silica gel doesn’t rundown until the third windows gets blue. Then it has to be regenerated.

Can I use TD³ with a different hose than IPH?

No. TD³ unit works with its own IPH hose. Remember that IPH hose has an internal thermocouple that keeps set temperature even when the system is idle.

Does TD³ need other maintenance, besides the filters?

No. TD³ is a self maintenance unit. If, by chance, you get any electrical problem, please contact our service.

Not more than 1 minute

Can I use more than one spray gun at the same time?

You can not use different spray guns simultaneously, but you can exchange them at any time.

Why TD³ is helpful even in summer?

TD³ is helpful because you should heat compressed air even when it’s warm or humid. Compressed air is, in fact, never hot enough to balance the temperature drop at the air cap, due to air expansion. (Physical rules show that any fluid when expanded drop the temperature).

What it means if the left indicator turns on red?

Red color indicates that Oil filter (2nd stage) has to be maintained or replaced

What it means if the right indicator turns on red?

Red color indicates that silica dust filter (4th stage, the little one upside) has to be maintained or replaced

How should I maintain the fourth stage paper filter?

You should unscrew it and blow it with a compressed air blowing gun and to replace it every 4-6 months
